SERVICE ENGINEER
LOCATION: Sheffield/ Doncaster
SALARY AND BENEFITS: £18,000 p.a. + shift allowance (£20k+)
COMPANY INFORMATION:
With a turnover of approximately £15 million per annum, our client is an industry leader in pneumatic accessories and supply chain goods for a number of sectors. Due to the continued success of the company they require a Service Engineer to join their established and successful team.
YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
Mechanical Engineer background - HNC or equivalent Mechanical Engineering
Mechanical fitting experience and a natural problem solver
Competent with hand/ power tools
Willing to travel and stay away from home within the UK and abroad to meet with the business requirements.
Good I.T, time management and communication skills.
Understanding of pneumatic equipment
IDEALLY YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
Electrical/ mechanical maintenance skills
PLC basic programming and logical problem solving skills (mechanical and electrical skills)
Knowledge of materials handling and process equipment.
ROLE INFORMATION:
To service pneumatic conveying systems and other products supplied, while developing and maintaining relationships with customers for the provision of helpful first line technical support.
To give a fast and efficient service to customers for breakdown and routine service visits and to train operators and maintenance personnel in the correct function of the systems.
