Finance Manager

A new and exciting vacancy has arisen for a well known company based in Barnsley town centre. The company have been established since 2000 and are well known and respected throughout. Due to their success and ever increasing work load they are looking to recruit a mature and professional Finance Manager. Having recently gained several new large contracts the role will be diverse and challenging.
Person Spec, Candidates must:
• At least 5 years experience in a similar role
• Be proficient with Sage Line 50
• Previous experience with K.P.I’s
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills
• Have a smart appearance
• Be able to work on own initiative
• Be competent, diligent and flexible
• Be of a positive disposition
• Be reliable and trustworthy
Job Spec, Responsible for:
• Payroll for a minimum of 75 people
• Raising of invoices
• Monthly profit and loss
• Stoppages
• Balance Sheet
• Bank Reconciliation
• Inter-Company reconciliation
• Nominal Ledger (Purchase & Sales Ledger, Sage Line 50)
• Project Forecasting
• Preparation, management and reporting on monthly
budgets and targets
• Development of cost analysis
• Asset Management
• Production and Management of daily cash flow
• Payment of income tax and VAT
• Self assessments, Tax and Vat Returns (P11D)
• Credit Control
• Monthly staff salary
• Providing advice and guidance on all financial matters
• Liaising with company accountant
• Management of petty cash
