Accounts Assistant required for an immediate start in Sheffield (north) This is a fantastic long term contract 9 -12 months offering the opportunity to develop a career in accountancy.
My client is a specialist manufacturer with a recent annual turnover of over £80 million. Due to a period of transition within the finance team a temporary position is now available on a long term basis to provide support to the Financial Controller.
This role is based in a large finance team and will provide an excellent opportunity to build upon previous experience and develop new skills. You will be require to assist the financial controller in the preparation and analysis of month end information, insuring the accuracy of accounting recordsthrough reconciliations and general ledger work.As you will be supporting the Financial Controller you will need to be able to demonstrate on application that you have held a similar role previously and canwork under limited supervision.
Responsibilities of this position will include, preparation and analysis of month end information, prepayments and accruals, reconciliations and journal transfers.
