The main purpose of the role is to support the Materials department in all areas of administration and ensure smooth running of materials from suppliers to support the Master Production Schedule (MPS) Plan and customer requirements.
You will be responsible for ensuring all documentation is filed correctly to allow for customer queries to be dealt with in an timely and professional manner.
Ideally you will have experience of working within a purchasing role, preferably within a manufacturing environment. It is essential that you have strong knowledge of MS Excel, have the ability to work under pressure, be flexible in your approach and have the ability to multi task. Good customer service skills are also essential as you will be the main point of contact for internal and external customers.
You will have excellent problem solving skills and the ability to effectively manage change in a busy office environment and good administration skills.
