Our client a major South Yorkshire based FMCG and Supply Chain organisation are keen to recruit a Production Planner, initially to cover a period of maternity with the outlook to permanent placement. Working within the existing planning team the successful candidate will be working a 4 on 4off rotating day shift based on 12 hour days, our client is paying a salary in the region of £18000 PA.
Key Duties and Responsibilities will include:
*Optimising stockholding and factory operation to maximum efficiencies.
*Prepare and amend plans on a daily basis to incorporate changed orders, production, engineering or quality issues.
*Plan for seasonal or promotional activity using provided client information.
*Communicate all relevant information between client and site
*Schedule an efficient running order of lines, taking into account any constraints.
