Job Description
This brand new £17M, 158 bedroomed corporate hotel has extensive restaurant, conference facilities, modern bar and boasts it own leisure club and fitness suite.
As a four star + facility it will lead the way amongst competitors within the Sheffield scene. Backed by the Millennium Copthorne, an established premium hotel group, with the support of an international group and attached to Sheffield United Football Club Stadium, will expose you to a very challenging and busy business. Reporting to the Hotel GM, you will have full responsibility for the day to day Operation of the Hotel, including Restarents, Bars, Front of House, Housekeeping etc.
Main Duties
As Hotel Operations Manager your role will be challenging, exciting and very rewarding. with a very well known brand behind you and the support of a household named, multi-leisure business with existing International connections. As part of the Senior Management team, you will be responsible for recruiting, training, managing and motivating an experienced team that can meet the goals and demands of the business and it will be down to you to prove your leadership qualities in sourcing this team. Along with the GM be responsible for delivering financial objectives for the business, however the ability to do this utilising the key strengths of your team will be essential.
Required Experience
With such a high profile hotel you will already have proved yourself in a 100 room plus hotel previously in the UK 3 or 4 star market. A proven track record of achieving budget through your own efforts and direction will be necessary. The ability to manage and inspire an experienced team, give clear direction and objectives will be key.
Ideally this experience will have been gained with a major operator in this field and you will also be able to demonstrate a proven track record of achievements.
Salary Package
£30,000 to £35,000 plus Bonus + pension + health scheme etc.
